Beschrijving pension

Bed and continental breakfast in a family home, which has two double and two twin en-suite rooms available at 35 euros per room/night (single occupation 20 euros/night). Four course evening meals including drinks are available on request at 12 euros. Each bedroom has electric heating and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests also have full use of the dining/living room with English television and video.
The pretty historic bourg of Moncontour has a leisure lake with water sports, beach and auberge. An XIth century tower overlooks the village and there are enjoyable walks along the banks of the meandering little River Dive - an ideal base for exploring the surrounding countryside of Vienne and Deux Sevres, and under 45 mins drive to the chateaux of the Loire and to the airport and Futuroscope in Poitiers.
We are happy to provide local information, help with house hunting, childminding, etc.
